I just finished Spacecrime Domino, and I LOVED it! The stories were the kind that pull you in from the get-go, and the characters were a mix of ones you actually care about (like Will, Natalie, Mike and others) as well as the ones you want to shoot out the nearest airlock (Lazarus, etc.). There were definitely some moments where I almost fell asleep reading the book, because I just couldn’t put it down.

Love the characters and development of the story. Once you read through the first chapter it is hard to put it down.

I read a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy and am picky with what I read. This book is fantastic from start to finish and I highly recommend. A great balance of story, character and world building, and action with a creative way of introducing that world to the reader.

Though not generally a sci-fi reader, I love this book so much because the author is amazing at the technical aspects of storytelling as well as the art of beautiful and intentional language. It’s an engaging story that you want to keep reading, with characters you care about and relate to from the start. It was truly a pleasure to read.

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys space adventures. Similar to EE Doc Smith, Kai builds a universe that is vivid but not overwhelming. Part 1 of what looks like a engaging saga. Can’t wait for the next instalment.

Spacecrime Domino is an amazingly good read! It’s a Sci-fi novel packed with action, adventure, comedy, tragedy, and a little romance (not to mention space-faring pirates, unbreakable friendships, villains you love to hate, and an alien from outer space). If you’re looking to curl up with a good book, look no further.
